Fixed price packages are a set number of pages and each page will accommodate as much text or images (within reason) as you wish. * Please note the cost is fixed unless you opt to change the design after approval, would like "Flash" content or add a significant number of images and/or the images require manipulation or digitising etc. Should this be the case the time taken to alter the design and add/digitise an excessive number of images will be billed as an extra charge on a 'time worked' basis.

Maintenance

If you require additional maintenance or support after the completion of the project you will be charged the standard hourly rate (charged for in 1 minute increments) for time worked. For the majority of our clients a typical update amounts to approximately £5 - 6.00. Details of our standard hourly rate are supplied at the time of requesting a quotation.

For those Client's wishing to maintain and update their own websites we also offer an easy to use Content Management System. Please ask us for more information if you are interested in updating your own Powerscourt Web Design built website.

Other Costs

In addition to the cost of designing and building a website there are some other costs for services not provided by us. They include:

Domain name registration

Clients will need to purchase a Domain name; these typically cost around £10-20 every two years depending on the type of domain name (i.e. .co.uk, .com etc.). We ask our clients to purchase their own Domain names so that they legally belong to the client.

Hosting

Once the website has been completed, it will need to be published to a hosting provider. Clients are required to purchase hosting; we will help you with this process by suggesting companies that we use and advising you on the process. Once hosting has been purchased the username and password supplied by the hosting provider will need to be submitted to PWD to enable us to upload your website to the host’s servers.
